Journal · Performance

Review the decision, not only the result.

Round trips come from the same core that placed the orders, so the journal does not depend on a spreadsheet you rebuilt at midnight.

The dashboard

Alpha's Performance dashboard on a sample set of 958 trades: net P&L, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, maximum drawdown, an equity and drawdown chart, the trader score, a P&L calendar, rolling metrics, and results by weekday, entry time, instrument and side.

Each trade knows which strategies’ fills made it, and the trade explorer can filter by them. Fees and commissions are part of every number.

Every trade, already written down.

A fill becomes a round trip with its fees, ticks, and how far it went against you and for you. It lands in the journal ready for a tag and a note, so the review starts from facts.

Every trade already written down: the fill becomes a round trip and a journal entry, ready for your note.

Journal the day, not only the trades.

Each day opens with your pre-market and post-market checklists, whether you followed your plan (your answer; Alpha never guesses it), your notes, a weekly review and the setups you saw but did not take.

Playbooks then compare the days you followed your plan with the days you did not.

A prop-firm view, with the rules and the costs.

Enter a firm’s rules yourself: account size, profit targets, daily and maximum loss, fees and payout terms. Alpha simulates the challenge on your own trade sample, labelled as an estimate and never as a prediction, and keeps evaluation costs beside your results.

Firms differ and none is assumed. Check your firm’s own rules, including any on automated trading.

Alpha's Prop firm page with the challenge rules entered by the trader: account size, steps, profit targets, minimum days, consistency, daily and maximum loss, fees, and funded-account split and payouts, with a note that the simulation is an estimate on a sample and never a prediction.

Export from the platform you use now and import it. Alpha previews the file, tells you what it cannot read, and keeps imported trades labelled as imported.
