Getting started
I am new to trading. Where do I begin?
On simulated accounts. Alpha opens with practice money, answers questions in plain words, sizes trades by the dollars you are willing to risk, and lets you set a daily loss limit before your first trade. The Start here page walks through it.
I work full time. Can Alpha trade while I am busy?
On simulated accounts, yes: give the Agent a grant with an account, a size and an end time, and it trades inside it while every risk check still runs. Live accounts are not available for that.
Can I trade stocks?
Not yet. Alpha trades futures today, including the Micro E-mini contracts on the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq-100. US equities are planned through a licensed data vendor, with no date yet.
Access
Can I download Alpha?
Not yet. Alpha is in private development and there is no public download. Request private access to be considered for a walkthrough or an evaluation.
Which operating systems?
Alpha is a native desktop application. Supported operating systems and system requirements will be published before release; none is announced yet.
Is there a trial or a price?
No. Nothing is for sale yet. See the pricing page for what is and is not decided.
Data and connections
Can I connect my broker?
Not yet. Alpha’s route to Rithmic is in progress; until it is available, Alpha runs on its built-in simulated market. Do not connect or share a funded account.
Is the data on this site real?
No. Every chart, ladder, book and P&L on this website is simulated and seeded, and labelled so. Product images and videos are the Alpha app itself, running on its built-in simulated market. The desk scenes and the people in photographs are generated images made for this site.
The Agent
Are the Agent videos on this site real?
Yes. They are recordings of the Alpha app on a simulated account, in real time, using the offline planner. In the app the Agent uses a model key you supply, or that offline planner if you supply none.
Can the Agent place trades on its own?
Yes, inside a grant you issue, on simulated accounts only: a standing grant with an account, a size and an end time, and, as the app adds the controls for them, Delegate and Full Authority grants with a loss budget and a time window. Every risk check still applies. Without a grant its orders wait for you.
Does the Agent predict prices?
No. It reads prices, your accounts and the calendar, and follows the strategy and limits you give it. Its research describes history and is labelled as not a forecast.
Privacy and enquiries
What happens to my enquiry?
It is stored privately in the website’s database, kept for up to 12 months, and read by the people who run Alpha. It is not emailed anywhere automatically.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
Email info@AlphaTradingPlatform.com with the reference shown when you submitted, if you have it.
